It is no secret that with age, it gets significantly easier to lose flexibility when you aren’t using it on a regular basis. This is often the result of the lack of movement or not enough movement in one’s day. The calf and hamstring stretch is something you can do while still in bed!

Imagine that, exercising in bed before you start your day. It certainly sounds appealing to me! It doesn’t take much effort at all to keep your muscles warmed up while giving them a bit of a stretch to maintain flexibility.
